80s Transformers/sunbow scores – Robert J Walsh

Over 2016, it was confirmed that Robert J Walsh was working with Sony to release a remastered version of his work on Transformers/G.I.Joe/Jem/My little pony.

Anyone has news of it? Has been cancelled? Still in the works?

Back in June, Robert Walsh was asked via Facebook about the current state of the project. He stated that the project was now remastered and in Sony’s hands (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/original-generation-1-score-to-be-released.1064858/page-10#post-14767682). I don’t believe any further information has come since, sadly.

Considering how 2018’s Bumblebee movie takes place in the 1980s, perhaps Sony’s looking at that as a possible release window? Ah well, it’s not like Sony needs our money, lol.

Its a happy surprise that will be release this week. Im pretty sure it wont have ALL the post-80smovie music but at least it will be released
