First, how can the game leak when the Switch hasn’t even been hombrewed yet. Most likely some people got it early, be it reviewers, or people in stores, and are playing it currently I supose.
Second, Koji Kondo does not do the music anymore.. only supervises.
Third, be patient. It’ll come soon.
Peach’s castle theme song from N64 appears in the game and it’s slightly remixed. So, yeah.
Also I just don’t see this getting posted for a while. The people that have the game already are playing it and don’t care about getting the music ripped.
Okay thankjs for explaining
Jump Up, Super Star! full version lossless copy is 41MB according to the copy sold on iTunes but I’m really skeptical that’ll find its way to the internet.

iTunes Store doesn’t sell in lossless, period, so I don’t know where you got that info. 41MB is also too much for a 4 minute song unless by lossless you mean master, 24bits, etc then I’d understand
Compressed to 8MBs.
Agreed. We’re not going to get the absolute best quality anyway due to Nintendo’s compression as is but the best we can hope for is a future Super Mario Odyssey CD release. Will it happen? Probably not.
I own a good chunk of Nintendo music CDs and would have been happy to own a copy of Mario Odyssey too but it doesn’t exist, not to the public at least.

They did soundtrack CDs for both Galaxy games, so I think it’s definitely possible down the line. Especially because Nintendo’s been much more open about releasing soundtracks since then.
Yep, they did but we’re in a digital era so Nintendo might feel it’s not necessary to get around to release a CD anymore.
Still have not bought the Kirby Triple Deluxe CD.. gonna check eBay now.
I don’t have a thing against "extended" versions (i.e. looped for 30 minutes, 10 hours, etc).
But why does almost EVERY FREAKING UPLOAD have to be "EXTENDED"?
But if it’s not extended… it’s just… not complete.
Dystifizer (or whatever), doesn’t extended the uploads, but he only has about 53 tracks, a few of which are probably the early treehouse live bad quality recordings, which really means it’s more like 48 tracks.
So, it’s either incomplete, or always extended… but still incomplete.
Literally NO ONE has uploaded all 82 tracks from the game (extended or otherwise). I can’t upload them, simply because I don’t have all 82 tracks, and because I don’t have a line-in cable available, anyway.

A good selection of Nintendo games nowadays have a ‘Music Player’ included in them, and Sonic Mania too.
Kirby: Rainbow Curse did but FFShrine spoiled me with the actual audio files so I could listen to them anywhere. 😛
There is barely any noise in painting rooms, I wouldn’t consider the low amount of room tone worth skipping an entire rip over. I recorded these sample clips and normalized each one, after which the only two tracks it’s really notable in are NDC Cafe and Honeylune Ridge, and honestly I think it helps Honeylune Ridge: http://picosong.com/wnquz/
WANT!
Shame on ya, Nintendo, I’d have wanted a physical copy of SMO’s Music CD!! 🙁

Honestly, I bet one is coming, but held back since there are so many surprises that a complete OST would spoil if it released before people got a chance to play! Like the final escape song, which personally blew me through the wall. I was not expecting this! Here’s an in-game rip of that, combined with the ending bit from the ending FMV (http://picosong.com/wnkwi/). If you have requests for specific tracks, I’d be glad to put the time into ripping those, and if it really seems like nobody else is bothering, I’ll start to fill in the gaps and build one!
I currently have everything up through track 20 recorded but they haven’t been trimmed yet.

Hey, if you found that spot in the last like 36 hours, that’s a ton of work done in a day. I’ll leave it to you, since working from both sides syncing up bitrates and normalization levels and looping styles would probably take longer than one person knocking the whole thing out. Can’t wait! If you need a small filesize album art, give the one I used in Honeylune Ridge Escape (http://picosong.com/wnkwi/) a shot, since it’s just 318kb but still looks good on a tablet or a phone. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help out!
I could potentially get the rest of them recorded and then hand them off to someone else to cut off the record player noise at the beginning and decide on a Fade Out point.
I did a soundtrack review on Super Mario Odyssey that I hope you will enjoy. Do check it out here:

iTunes will only have a 12-track sound selection (http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2017/12/super_mario_odyssey_soundtrack_coming_to_itunes_to morrow_cd_collection_next_year), the full soundtrack release consists of 136 tracks on 4 discs.
Oh, so it’s actually getting a physical CD release? Hadn’t read that. Thanks for that.
Loved the game but the music was off for me, it didn’t have that Nintendo-quality it usually does, imo. The Fire Emblem Warriors OST is incredible and I’ve not even played the game.
Don’t worry, I’ve already bought it. Posted it here in the original m4a format:
