The people who did this really don’t have a clue…

Did they ever mention why the remixed tracks for the older stages aren’t included?
I
If you really need all of the game’s music, then you’ll have to get a gamerip. There are a few here, at this site, available for download.

Yeah download the !!!!! one, its the best one in my opinion : Thread 119192
Vinyl in the thread’s name is apparently misleading.

I see, it’s just that I wanted the vinyl soundtrack because of how the music ends in it. On the gamerip they just loop and end with a fade out. The vinyl has the songs actually ending, without the need of fading out due to looping. I though the vinyl would have all the music since, even it may be copyrighted to Sega, Sega did gave Tee Lopes permission to use them for the game, right? I don’t think Sega would not give permission to them to release all the tracks, but fine no problem I’ll just download the songs available within the vinyl and mix with the rest of the other game ripped ones, so I can have a definitive Sonic Mania soundtrack on the go.
I don’t tnk they mean is misleading for the order of the words, is misleading for what it is. This is the digital version from the download code that was given with the vinyl, not a rip from the vinyl. No wonder is not 96 kHz, not even 48 kHz. I hope someone does make a proper rip in the future.
Thanks, but others beat you to post this version.
my bad, i misunderstood.

Actually, vinyl is referring to the version, and not the quality. I can see how it might be misleading to some, but it doesn’t say "vinyl rip" either, so…
As already stated before, the vinyl version of the tracks have a proper custom ending and not just a fadeout.

Aw that’s too bad (why can’t everyone just get along.. oh well it’s youtube for the rest of the tracks I guess.
Take the !!!!! version from the Nexus thread, the quality is way better than shit Youtube one
I for those who want it; I converted them to .mp3 @ 320kbit/s with AIMP audio converter and LAME 3.99.5.
Here is the Mega link, I did not change anything else other then the format:

Thank you Rageplay!! And to Issou once again of course!! 🙂
It really sucks that they aren’t doing a CD release, then releasing the complete soundtrack would be totally feasible. As it is now, I can’t help but wonder what the point is beyond "hey, vinyl is cool."
I still might get it because vinyl is pretty cool, but whether or not all the tracks is on the album is a big factor for buying any soundtrack to me. It’s the practicality angle, you know? It’s kinda like how the Collector’s Edition for Mania has no physical copy of the game. Yeah, the stuff on there is kinda cool, but it doesn’t serve any real purpose beside being cool, whereas a physical copy would give it some usefulness. I like the things I buy to serve a purpose and be cool.
At least Forces is getting a full 3 CD soundtrack release.
