Fuga dal Paradiso (Flight from Paradise) is a 1990 sci-fi film from Germany about 2 teens trying to escape the artificial environment they grew up in after a nuclear catastrophe. The rich orchestral score by Michel Legrand starts out carefree, but grows more ominous as the escape commences.
