Desperately need your help ! To release a Most Complete Score for Troy…

Hi Everybody !

As you know, Intrada released recently an excellent Expanded Score 2CD for the movie Troy… another great score from James Horner.

I say "Expanded" because I noticed 2 days ago some musics stay unreleased… 🙁

First, you probably noticed the track "Troy" from the OST is missing.

I learned yesterday 2 tracks are missing because of a problem of copyright (if I understood well).

But…fortunately I also learned one of this missing cue is completely available on the BluRay of the director’s cut, in the End Credits, free SFX so…This is the music when Achillus speaks with his mother about glory etc…followed by the track "Troy" from the OST.

Here, I need you. I don’t have a computer to rip a BluRay Disc…so I can’t rip my bluray…

Is there anyone nice to rip for us the entire End Credits of the Director’s Cut of Troy to share then this music on the forum please ? An mp3-320kbps will be enough… Flac if possible 😉

It will allow us to have the most complete version of the score…

The only one cue missing will be the scene of the last night between Paris & Helen, before they escape together for Troy, when Hector discovers Helen hidden in the boat…

I’VE been the one posting information about it. Even the outside information.

I ripped that cue from the Director’s Cut of Troy back in 2014. I actually put it up once years ago. Thread must be long gone.

So instead of asking me to share with you the two cues, then posting this big public "HELP ME" post, why don’t you just be a LITTLE patient?

Some of us have lives to live and can’t spend all their time on this.

When someone says in a title they’re desperate….well what is it they’re actually desperate for? Did he even buy the CD? I doubt it.

And don’t suppose I didn’t buy the real CD because…you don’t even know if I did or not ! ….And sorry to disappoint you….I already ordered the real CD ! With others limited stuff… You don’t have to think you’re the only one here who can buy real copies from Intrada, Lalaland, Varese etc….

I could be wrong, but JHFan mostly reacted this way because you seemed "overly theatrical" (desperate) for something as trivial as ripping end credits from a Blu-Ray. You could just have easily found a HDrip with a lossless HDtrack and rip the cue from that rip yourself (I’ve done the same with other films before). Some people are quirky enough to upload compressed video with uncompressed audio.

I’m fairly certain someone would’ve ripped it for you, maybe even JHFan himself again, but it’s the use of the word desperate that kind of threw him off. Just think about the full meaning of that word and I’m sure you’ll come to understand too 🙂

But I have not been rude, contrary to JHFan, saying he doubt I bought a copie of Troy (Intrada). This is not a forum for judjing who buy or not original CD’s …. He over reacted too.

Exactly. You gave me the rip of the End Credits and I really thank you for that, since it was the aim of this thread 🙂 More, the quality is just perfect (m4a).
And thanks for the rip of the last track Briseis & Paris. Some SFX but the quality is good enough for me.
