Was There Any Rule That States That Members cannot Ask For Download Links For Games?

I noticed that the FAQ section here (http://forums.ffshrine.org/faq.php) never stated that users cannot ask for download links for full games. There was also no other thread I noticed that had stated such a rule either. So I would like to ask if there are specifically any thread that states that users cannot ask for download links for full games because that another user I know who used this forum got banned for asking for download links for full games even though he did not know such a rule exists. Otherwise, I do not think it made sense that he got banned just because he made a thread asking for download links for a full game without knowing it is not allowed for him to do so.

Anyway, this isn’t a warez site. Just video game, movie, and anime music (and anime). There are exceptions for materials directly pertaining to soundtrack releases (liner notes, full score manuscripts, etc.) but no video games. You should be able to infer what this website doesn’t allow based on the purposes of each subforum.
