Mega just is not a good option. I recommend Rapidgator, Depositfiles, Turbobit, or Yandex. Their take-down policies seem rather weak. I have found files on RG, DF & Yandex especially years after they were posted.

Best download speed doesn’t do any good if the file is taken down. I’ve posted files to MEGA and they were taken down within hours. The speeds with Yandex are very good, even with their free accounts; speeds for premium accounts at the others are also very good.

I have been using MEGA since it’s beta days, and the worst I’ve seen one of my files taken down was a few weeks. That is going to vary from person to person.

I’ve seen files stay on Rapidgator, Depositfiles, Yandex & even Turbobit for 5 years or more without being re-uploaded. But if you have any secrets to preserving uploads on MEGA, I’m all ears. I’ve tried giving them random file names, password protecting them, and putting them on sites like Embedupload, to no avail. UMG seems to have my number, even though I’ve shared only 3 albums or so.
