Favorite metroid game?

Just curious.

I was replaying metroid fusion which i have to say i love.The atmosphere is great.The game is super creepy in some areas, and there is always a feeling of terror that something new is happening and there is urgency.

I have to replay metroid prime prime 2 echoes.I really enjoyed parts of echoes, but i found the whole light work dark world rip off of zelda.It had interesting ideas with weapons and aliens, which is why i have to replay it.I haven’t replayed in years and don’t remember, and i love metroid series, and grew up playing it since i was a child, same as loz.

I was never all that much of a 2D Metroid fan but the first Metroid Prime game just hit the spot. Everything just clicked. I played Prime 2 and thought it was good but not like that first Prime game. It just holds a special place for me. Never got around to Prime 3.

Thats why i said about light world dark world thing.The weapon bits was interesting though, and so was the alien you talked to.

Metroid Prime 2 for sure! GC version (it didn’t have the difficulty toned down like it was in the MP Trilogy box). Last time I played in Hard Mode it was amazing!

Metroid Prime is also great. Corruption I need to replay.

Tie between Prime 1 and Super for me.

Super Metroid. Not only the best Metroid game, but one of the greatest games ever made, period.
