I know some things can’t be posted here. But is it still okay to ask for them via PM? For instance, am I allowed to start a request thread for HP and the Goblet of Fire, Varse titles etc. if I ask for PM only?

Varse is completely not allowed (they eventually came back and demanded the staff put a stop to private messaging sharing of their releases).

Draw your conclusions from that, about what’s the safest thng to do… Here’s the answer, in case you don’t figure it out: do not request. Who knows which might be the next label to pull off that "stunt". There are other boards where those "restrictions" do not apply, yet, you best go elsewhere.

Okay, thanks. Have these guys really nothing better to do? Also, they ahe no right to monitor online private communication.

They’re protecting "their" property, in a sense. About the other part of your message: Varse demanded we put a stop to threads where there are "PM for the links" statements, they won’t be monitoring online private communication (neither would the board’s staff).
