Game of Thrones soundtracks are nearly always released (digitally at least) a few days before the season ends. The only time the soundtrack has been released after the season has concluded is Season 2.

I imagine the Season 7 soundtrack will be released a few days before Season 7 ends, like Game of Thrones soundtracks nearly always are. Any time from August 21st to August 25th is most likely.

IIRC season 6 was released after The Winds of Winter aired. The track list was released a few days in advance, but the score was not. I specifically remember because I was sampling "Light of the Seven" on Pandora, wondering what the hell was happening during the opening piano.

It was released before. It was definitely released before The Winds of Winter. Because I remember wondering what Light of the Seven could possibly be.
