Here is my
Unreleased Game Music Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrn2KAOgK_VQIOca_00Aebg),
where I posting all this staff. Your likes or subscriptions will be much appreciated, it is your help to make the channel more known and to make
more people find, listen and download all this unreleased music!
Lots of thanks for your help =)
Do not hesitate to leave a comment, if you liked my work. Will appreciate it a lot!
Although the released OST album is extremely well compiled and it includes all the music, written for the game, some parts and some loops are not included fully or with all possible variations (for example, almost every theme in the game may be instrumental or with vocals, so that particular aspect is not represented fully in the album). So, in "Nier: Automata Unreleased Additional Soundtack" compilation I made alternative variations of the released tracks, that combain all the unused in the released album variations of the in-game themes.
The compilation is intended to be listened togather with the released album, which is quite clear on the basis of what’s written above.
The source OGG gamerip, I used, was made by Zirot: Thread 215929

"A Beautiful Song" Bells Version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wo8_4UPq2I8) is not in the compilation, download it separately here: https://dl.orangedox.com/nThc5QsbGM5lW1AdFm
I guess the difference in quality of MP3 and OGG versions is not really that big (maybe there’s even none LOL), but anyway. It cantains all my unreleased mixes of NA OST in the order, I find the best to listen to it. There are also folders for official OST in the archives, so you could fill them with the officialy released album, but they are mostly empty, because you can support these composers and buy the album officially. Still, you will find two tracks there, because I made them as a replacement to the released ones (they’re longer, but mostly repeat the structure of the same released tracks):

ALSO I started mixing alternative versions of Nier Gestalt/Replicant soundtrack, compiling alternative arrangements of the released tracks, trying to make them more variable as far as the gamerip files allow to do it. The work is in progress, but you can check these out as they got made, since I post them in my Youtube channel. If you’re interested, check out the playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqHzTYarEuQ&list=PLiVSF2AAhkqc1L3PNvDKBo3f42ZNMOqGl
Thank you kindly!
Exactly. Disc 1, 2 and 3 are just folders to put the official album tracks there, with only 2 alternatives for the released tracks, 1 in disc 1 and 1 in disc 3. I didn’t include the official album to this archive, because everyone who needs it got it already.
Also, rather than the three-note shriek starting off Beautiful Song it’s just the one. I’m guessing that’s how it came in the ogg, but i could be wrong. I couldn’t fit the unmixed ost on my hard drive or already bursting library.
Are there DL links I missed for Possessed by a Disease in some other thread and is there a version with those three crazy notes? If so, I would love to have those! They give me goosebumps every time.

Thank you! Glad you liked it.
I didn’t include the Become as Gods version of Possessed track, because I thought it didn’t fit very well. The right thing to do was to include it to Bonus folder, but I didn’t for some reason. Anyway, you can find it in the gamerip, I worked with: Thread 215929
About the three-note shriek – I have no idea what are you talking about. Can you show me that somehow? Maibe there’s some video on YT with it?
My only problem was the lack of tags but I added the info from the filenames.
it’s the noise the boss makes to begin the battle. it’s awesome! you included the last note of it, which works, but an alternate version would be interesting.

Well, these are the in-game sounds, they are not in the music files themselves, and I only worked with them. That’s why there’s no these sounds in the track. There are no bells in that same track as well, though some people expected to hear them, but they are in-game sounds as well, not part of the music itself.
What I really would like to see though, and something I already did for a few tracks in the original Nier, is a custom version of the soundtrack that rolls all the variations of each song that are heard in the game into a single track each, presented the way the music is discovered in the game. For example, in the desert area you first hear the ambient version of the track, then as you proceed through it the percussion is added, then the vocals as you reach the apartment complex, and finally the full dynamic version with vocals as you escape from the desert. I think I will make some custom versions like that myself when I have time.
Also, as in the Girtastic’s link, a good quality version of A Beautiful Song that includes the full intro the boss sings as well as some well-placed bells would be great. I looked for the bell sound effects in a rip of the game files I have, but I couldn’t find them, so I guess that’s off the table for now.
That was one of the options, I considered, when planning this compilation. But later I decided to do the way I made it, it’s more interesting way to do it, IMO. And it allowed to come with some interesting variable mixes, instead of having each track mixed in the same pattern, which would annoy the listener very fast and it won’t be interesting at all to listen to this compilation after 3 or 4 times. Idk, my opinion.
I saw some tracks on Youtube long ago, but I can’t find them anymore, unfortunately.
I’m gonna get the game soon. Shall I grab the source files for you?
No, thank you. There are nothing that interesting there tbh, instead of instrumental Vague Hope. Spring Rain version, but it is included in this thread’s compilation already. So i’m not interested in DLC’s music stuff beyond that.
Ah, got it
What do you mean exactly?
cool

Glad you liked this! Enjoy!
You mention doing an alternate mix for the original Nier – I’ve done a couple of mixes for it in the past, so I’ll add them to this thread for those interested:

hey, Igor. just copped and listened through your NieR:Automata soundtrack – awesome stuff, thank you very much
you mention that you’re doing one for the first game as well; loved that game and loved the soundtrack
would you mind posting here to notify when it’s finished and linking to the new thread in here?
once again, many thanks
all the best

Hi! Thanks! Yes, sure I will post it and I will notify, but it won’t be soon. I did abandon it for the time being, but i will return to it some time and will finish the work. Just don’t know when.
so far, your version of the Automata soundtrack seems to be the best, most complete one
i’ve dug through the individual channels-version, and i’m not even sure how i’d go about it, so i’ll just leave to someone more capable than me
yet again – many thanks! and best wishes

Thank you for the kind words, means a lot!
Hi! Glad you like it!
There is no Rebirth and Hope track in Disc -1, since this track is presented in the official OST. I made a mistake in the tracklist by including it.
"in "Nier: Automata Unreleased Additional Soundtack" compilation I made alternative variations of the released tracks, that combain all the unused in the released album variations of the in-game themes." You can check out what exactly I did on the Youtube link, I gave in the description. Also I did put a link to the source gamerip I worked with to mix all this, where you can find each and every Quiet/Medium/Dynamic with and without vocals, if that’s what you’re looking for.
