Funny, I just saw this the other night on Netflix. The film is not a documentary, but still excellent work by Werner Herzog. The score by Ernst Reijseger is interesting. The only link I found is http://mp3red.me/album/5332901/salt-and-fire.html. The tracks are 192 kbps MP3, which you can stream. Otherwise, you’ll probably have to buy the CD somewhere.

Thanks! And, yes, I saw that it WASn’t a documentary. The cover art of the soundtrack, coupled with the fact that it was a Werner Herzog film, made me juts assume that it was a doc.
