Hey everyone, I’ve recently been working on an update for the Shinra theme.
I finally finished and uploaded it today! I would really love to get some feedback from people who love the game!
Thanks =)

Top. I’d honestly say this ought to be the standard by which they arrange the remake’s score. You nailed it. Can I ask what software’s your medium, or does a magician never reveal their secrets?

Hey! Thanks for your high compliment! =) I use Mixcraft. I don’t think it’s the best, but it was affordable and I’m used to it, haha. My instrument software is mostly Kontakt instruments.

Not bad. Nice interface. You can teach an old dog new tricks.

You don’t suppose redoing the whole soundtrack is in your future, do you?

The whole soundtrack might be a bit ambitious for me. Maybe a Soundtrack Selection or something, haha. But I did just upload my remaster of "Jenova Absolute"

And here is my youtube playlist of all my remasters so far if you’re interested.

Ahh yes, I was hoping you’d kept at it. Good show, chap! Pip-pip, and all that wot no’! (That was me up there months ago replying to you, but shhhh, don’t tell the authorities; I’ll get the banhammer again just for mentioning it). I have to say, your reimagining of Barret’s theme is spot-on; the use of electric guitar is perfect. I always imagined Square-Enix had tried to emulate such an instrument on their old PSone-era software, but it just wasn’t up to snuff. Good stuff though, from your end.

Sandy Badlands, too, really ranks up there. You’ve a tuned ear for this sort of thing.

Are you utilising software instruments, or do you have the full setup? Mayhap a combination? Having given them all a listen, I have to once again give credit where credit is due; you put a lot of time and effort into these, and it shows. Jenova’s theme really screams to be put on full blast with earbuds.
