Pok�mon HeartGold & SoulSilver: Original Soundtrack [Gamerip; FLAC/MP3 V0]

Following directly in the footsteps of my Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum gamerip comes another gamerip of a Pok�mon DS game… that actually already has multiple gamerips. Lol
After making the Platinum rip, I found myself yearning for a HGSS rip of the same caliber. So, with the bit of free time I had recently, I put this rip together. It’s ripped exactly the same as the last rip, so no interpolation and straight from the 2sf files. One small change this time, however, is the inclusion of a FLAC rip, because I know how much everybody loves FLAC and due to the requests I received for a FLAC rip of DPPt. I know this game has been ripped several times already, but I still feel that this rip offers a very crisp sound when compared to some others, nice album art, and a clean tag job. I changed the order of a few of the tracks, making it slightly closer to the order you hear them in the game (ex. moving the Wi-fi songs to after the Global Terminal track, moving the Pok�athlon tracks to right after the National Park, moving the Battle Frontier songs to after the Pok�mon League, etc.). The album features several tracks not on the OST. Additionally, I separated the album into two discs, the first being the main ost, and the second being the Game Boy Sound tracks (the 8-bit recreations of the GBC ost). I proudly present my rip of possibly the single most nostalgic game ever for me:

Info: FLAC/MP3 V0 (2SF, decoded using Winamp, NO Interpolation -> FLAC), 282 Tracks Total, Fully tagged (number, artist, title, year, album art made by me), each track plays two times and then has a 10 second fade.

UPDATE: Version 2.0, now with louder volume, better sound quality (more true) and minor tag corrections, is up (main album only!)! Enjoy!

Also, through listening to the soundtrack it is possible that some songs may be missing album art(?)
No clue why, either way though, this is why I always include art in the folder, so please utilize that and reapply if you are missing some. Sorry about that, thanks!

Thanks, but, sadly, that likely won’t happen because the wav files are long gone, and I’d have to re-rip and retag the whole album. Thanks again for checking out the rips though!

Okay, to address the tracklist concern, I uploaded an HTML file of the tracklist. This was MUCH easier for me to do, and I know that nobody will mind downloading a tiny file in order to read the tracklist. Thanks again everyone!

Actually, no 😛
I have a couple reasons for this. I feel that the official soundtrack is really good, the official soundtrack loops properly (which is the main reason I ripped these two (DPPt, HGSS), because the official soundtracks did not), and BW are tough games to rip as they use very ‘crunchy’ soundfonts (they sound pretty harsh if not edited. I know this happens with HGSS, but it is waaay worse with BW).

Yeah, I am experiencing technical difficulties at the moment. I put up the comment announcing the update under the impression that they would be finished uploading by the time I hit send, but something is going wonky with my internet and/or MEGA so the uploads are taking an absurd amount of time to complete. Awesome, glad you think so! I actually made another version of the rip a few weeks ago (that I never uploaded) where I tested a bunch of weird effects and stuff, but this one I uploaded is basically raw. Been listening to it lots and am very happy with it as well. Thanks for the feedback!
