I’m not sure if this is the right spot to post this, but perhaps someone here can give some insight into my inquiry? This said, I was just informed that my access to getting PM from other members has changed and I’ve done nothing (that I know of) to select this feature. Another member was trying to send me a PM and received this as a prompt from FF as an automated response; "Scoretooth2 has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her."
Does anyone know why this pops up and why I’m not able to receive Privet Messages?

Anyway, go to Settings->General Settings, and scroll down to "Private Messaging". I assume that yours is turned off. If not, look below that and maybe you’re set to only receive PMs from mods/friends.

Thanks for the reply, Skeletonman. I’d already had checked all that you had relied to me in your reply and all checks out as good. For whatever reason, certain members have not been able to send me PMs, even when they were able to do so only days ago. Odd.
I wonder if other members are having a similar issue?
