A number of folks have had a go at this ISO over the years and, TBH, none of the results have ever really met with my personal satisfaction (including a personal edit of my own that I made some 11 years ago), so here’s another go at it. Some creative liberty has been taken excising, condensing and/or amalgamating either redundant padding, extended dramatic pauses and/or short tracks which slowed momentum, particularly the second and third acts which are notoriously stop and go, stop and go.

So, no, this isn’t just a sliced up ISO with a different cover (speaking of which, the cover incl. in the archive contains a typo and should be swapped out for the corrected version seen above).

And can you believe this score is almost 20 years old. GAH! I can remember going to see it on a typically sunny Santa Monica afternoon the day it opened.

thanks, this is such a great score, I wonder if while you attack such a project that requires listening to the same parts over and over, if this eventually you get sick of the music? this has stopped me from trying something similar with other scores

but if I had to listen to the same music to check for imperfections of the sound dozens of times, Id get eventually sick of even morricone, kilar or barry (my 3 favourites), perhaps its different for every person
