The Peragus battle music always bothered me. You know what I mean: the end of the song comes at the beginning, and right as the music builds to a climax… it ends. And if you try to loop it, there’s a jarring, split-second pause. The other songs aren’t mangled as badly, but a lot of them still cut off suddenly, or don’t quite loop properly. Neither Nanahra1983 (Thread 62298) nor Andrees (Thread 94043) addressed these problems in their rips, so I took it upon myself to re-edit the tracks to sound like they should.

Most of the tracks are named like they are in the music menu, and are mostly in the same order, with a few exceptions. The one thing I need to mention is that some of the battle music was omitted. The reason is that some battle tracks are just excerpts from others.

The bonus download contains the missing battle tracks, as well as the inserts that sometimes play during conversations, the stings that play when a fight ends, and all the music that was borrowed from KOTOR I or elsewhere.

Thank you for this!
One question: what is the theme music playing when you see the Ebon Hawk leaving Malachor as it’s breaking up before it goes to end credits? I’ve been trying to find this piece of music for a while.

Is it "Ruins of the Jedi Academy"?

Thank you very much for posting this. I stumbled along another version of this, but it was at something like 38kbps. Do you happen to have The Old Republic OST (the CD version)? Can’t seem to find an active link anywhere.

I know that KOTOR 2 was recorded with actual orchestra as opposed to KOTOR 1, but do you know if the Main Menu theme from KOTOR 1 that was used in Korriban for this game was re-recorded using the real orchestra, or just tracked as is from KOTOR 1? I’ve tried listening to both versions and comparing, but my results are inconclusive.
