Never thought I’d ever see a release of this! the moment I spotted it online, I just had to order it. Wagyan Land is a side scrolling platformer series for NES (FC), SNES (SFC), Game Gear, and NDS! What’s interesting about this game series is that you dont actually kill anything at all! Your attack is a loud scream that you can level up to stun enemies! (wa, GA, GYA!) And what’s really interesting are the boss battles. Depending on the game, you’ll be doing activities such as Shiritori (a Japanese word game), naming a creature or setting within the game, or Marubatsu (true-False). needless to say, some of the boss stages do require at least kindergarten level of japanese knowledge and reading skills. (I can only really name animals in Shiritori, lmao).

The soundtrack itself is 4 discs of all the games over the years (except for any of the phone games cause they were probably just ports). for some reason the game is also known as "Wagan Land", even tho the Katakana clearly says "ワギャン", not　"ワガン".

Disc 1 contains Wagyan Land 1~3 (FC/NES)
Disc 2 contains Super Wagyan Land 1 & 2 (SFC/SNES)
Disc 3 contains Wagyan Paradise (SFC/SNES)
Disc 4 contains Wagyan Land (Game Gear) & Hirameki Action: Chibikko Wagyan no Ookina Bouken (i.e. Wagyan DS)
(Also, Disc 4’s bonus tracks are recordings from cutscenes, which are video clips added into the NDS game. the quality is crap but it was nice of them to add it, at least.)

So yeah, cool. I took too long to record the game series myself, looks like Namco beat me to it. plus side is now i have official track names for these tracks finally, the con is all the hours spent recording the music myself in-game and organizing the tracks.. lol.
