Some notes to igor and anyone planning to mix the tracks or share them or something: Sister Friede’s track has differences in it. The first phase violins are a bit different, especially near the transition where they cut completely and only the piano plays before phase 2 starts. From what I checked, phase 2 doesn’t seem all that different except for the part at the end of the loop, which seems to have been replaced by the part at the end of the trailer version of the song, along with the ending to the track of course. As for other songs, they’ve only added transitions to them (specifically to the DLC tracks which used a different method for transitioning in-game) as well as adding the endings to most tracks, but didn’t edit what’s already in the in-game track the way they did with Friede’s, but I’m gonna check for any changes, gonna keep you updated.

A small difference I noticed with Midir’s album track is that it lacks the harp line that the in-game version starts with. Such a weird thing to cut out, I actually liked how the track started, a bit of a shame that they decided to remove it.

Also, another difference is in Aldritch’s track. Its first phase now has the final verse being repeated with a slight variation before it transitions.

Gael’s theme also seemed to have been altered a bit, specifically the transition to the third phase from 4:05 to 4:18, the vocals in this part feel a bit subdued in the in-game version when compared to the album release. The album release has very loud vocals in this part which makes this part feel very epic imo, still, despite that, I can hear the other layers more clearly, hence why I believe that this change was partly due to better mixing for the album than what was done in the game, along with increasing the intensity of vocals. (EDIT: it seems to be the case for the vocals in the entirety of the third phase, but I dunno, I could be wrong and this could be because they amplified the whole track of the phase a bit).

(p.s I don’t know a lot about music terminology, so I hope what I’m trying to express got through. Correct me where I’m wrong)

Its nothing easier to conventer FLAC version to mp3-320 or mp3-VBR in foobar2000 if you want to save space in your music device.
