Good news, at least, is that the CD sounds good, has good selections, and most importantly, has a bonus live rendition of the Main Theme, probably the one from the 30th concert.

Does it seem as if this sound selection is just only some of the songs, or does it represent all of the tracks in the game? Just wondering if this isn’t the complete soundtrack if they’ll be releasing a comprehensive one later.

As the name says, it’s a Sound Selection, not a full-on soundtrack. That won’t ever happen, for now and I hope I get proven wrong. But even TPHD soundtrack wasn’t complete when released last year.

They never released a complete ZELDA Skyward Sword soundtrack either. I thought that was one of the best soundtracks for a ZELDA game in a long time. I DO hope this one gets a complete release, though; there was obviously a lot of missing pieces from this.

Found a YT link and it’s exactly the same so I guess it’s not some glitch.
However the transition is a bit abrupt.

Yep, and I tried to rip it with another computer, it did the same. So I checked just by listening to the CD and it’s the track. Maybe they screw up my collector version ou the French ones… We’ll have to wait if someone else has a clearer version.

There’s no such thing as a clearer version if someone just does a proper verifiable flac/log/cue rip to begin with 😉

I guess he meant a clear version as source.

Mine will be here next week but I got it from amazon.fr so I will be able to confirm if it’s a problem with the EU cd.

Doesn’t seem like it’s a problem of the track, no. Seems intentional. The japanese site of the game also had the track like this.
