I’ve had this version for years and because it’s one of my all time favorite video game scores, I decided to finally share this version.
It’s my custom presentation of the magnificent score to the 1999 video game. All tracks are ripped from the original redbook audio on the official game discs, which I had at the time.
This is NOT the remastered edition from a few years back, but to be honest, the original tracks already sounded amazing. So I did nothing to enhance the sound quality.
What I did was create a much more consistent presentation by making the music grow in beauty and intensity like how the best score albums are assembled.
So not all the best music is found at the start like with the regular OST, which has some issues in this department.
IMHO the flow of the music is something that is extremely important to get maximum enjoyment out of an album.
And this music deserves nothing less.
