Thank you
FLAC was still uploading, now available
Edit: Is there any way you can upload the base WAV files? or did they only give out FLAC and MP3? I am afraid something happened with your end of the conversion/tagging. I will try a re-download on my end to make sure.

Uploading WAV (original files)
Using dbpoweramp?
Anyways thank a lot for the files OP much appreciated.
Thanks for checking things on your end I really appreciate it! This is pretty weird, my guess is there is an issue with the original files. There’s probably nothing we can do on our end except wait for them to fix it. I guess someone could notify support?
Who cares? 😉
The waiting is over …. We Want to play now !!
Thanks again tosheii !
🙂
So you have played the game already, huh?
Thanks for the upload anyway, OP 🙂
However, 5 songs in and I must say I am impressed by Paesano’s work.
Thank you for sharing!
Don’t you ever love when people gives you deep insights about their likings????
Specially when comments are so close to perfection on what is usually called "constructive criticism"????
And above all, when they bring you new light on what the thread needs ….
Just in case I didn’t make myself clear: yeah…. I’m being sarcastic
and comments like this are the real "piece of shit"
And by the way, the score is really neat and classy, much more subdued than could be expected, with a brilliant presence of the string section
Am I the only one having trouble with those links ?
Will try later from home, I’m at work now and maybe my company firewall is blocking it… 🙁
Thanks anyway !
And yeah, how many of us noticed, the soundtrack is completely generic & boring.
Here is a constructive criticism. I agree that the strings is good, but it does not make the soundtrack outstanding. Andromeda is a generic score: No good thematic music (like Mass Effect Theme, The Normandy Theme, The Illusive Man, Leaving Earth, etc), no polyphony (the orchestration is not perfect in general), the synths are primitive (no sci-fi feeling, no deep analog sound).

Now that’s more like it!!!!! 🙂
Thank you for your analysis, and I agree some way with your view. Never said it was outstanding and it’s easy to see how it can go a bit into the generic side of things. But there is much more under it that meets the eye. Specifically in complete disagreement about your thoughts on orchestration. Which although a bit simple, is not at all a bad one, with the strings arrangements being really well done.
See??? That is a much more interesting way to present your views in a post, even leading to an interesting conversation

Managed to download it finally, thanks again.

Many is a bit of an "overstatement" don’t you think???… only 3 of more than 45 think that way as can be read on the post 🙂
This soundtrack feels insanely uninspired and rushed, there is not really any memorable melody to be found, it’s mostly loud and "epic".
The minimal use of synths is also something that left a very bitter taste to me.
Early access is available now, so it’s possible that they did.
Or they’re just repeating what everybody else is saying. OMG THE FACIAL ANIMATIONS ARE SHIT!
Remember these are the people that gave Fallout 4 a 9/10.

Sascha Dikiciyan is probably just upset that he got passed over to take the reins by new blood. Sorry, but his liking this doesn’t prove anything.
And saying something is the worst of an entire year of releases when we’re only in March is pretty embarrassing on your behalf, mate.
As for the cover, that’s the only one for now, comes with the deluxe edition soundtrack donwload. Bioware will probably release it later on HQ or someone else will recreate it.
Thanks for the upload anyway, OP 🙂
I’ve tried two sources (my own and a friend downloading it from Mass Effect archives), both 902 MB, and both are throwing errors in dBpoweramp. It’s likely a bad mixing or upload on their part. I’m trying to submit the problem on their feedback right now. The original files converted for me in LameXP.
That said, yeah this isn’t my favorite ME score, and reminds me a lot of Inquisition’s stuff. I preferred the Vangelis-like synths from the first game, which is also my favorite from the trilogy. However, DAI had a lot of good unreleased music. I forgot this composer worked on the Maze Runner score (that I liked) so I’m hoping there is more.

YANDEX:
It is not…. is a VG
.
The game looks like disaster, from gameplay footage plays like disaster and not even the soundtrack is any good. And I’m actually pretty forgiving.
Welp. Not like I ever cared about Mass Effect much, but at the very least I had some music to listen to from this series at times.
Also, I’ve seen someone run around in a certain point in the game, and the running animation made me lose my shit. I haven’t laughed that good in a long time.
But the new ME:A soundtrack is rather blend and doesn’t quite sound like Mass Effect… This could be the soundtrack of any genereic modern shooter/ action adventure.
Too bad the great synth score of Mass Effect is a thing of the past. They should’ve hired the composers of STRANGER THINGS instead! (Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein)
Or just listen to the MAN OF STEEL soundtrack, it is mostly orchestral but at least sounds a lot like Mass Effect, especially the Krypton related music.

Also thank you for uploading to Mega. Also I don’t understand why anyone would upload to anything other than Mega, it’s borderline inconsiderate to do otherwise imo.
I don’t think this is the worst score of the year, as a few are claiming right now, but I largely found it uninteresting.
If you put this score in a film about space I probably wouldn’t notice, there’s not much on this release that takes pointers from the previous games… But I may have to go back myself and see if I’m wrong on that.
I wasn’t expecting much from when this score when I heard Paesano was hired. Still puzzled by it, too; that’s the guy they chose when they could’ve gotten just about anyone from Hollywood? His music has always been forgettable trailer loops that apes other composers’ styles. Here’s hoping it gets better on repeat listens.
That’s the joke.

I guess there’s always one village idiot that’s late to the meme party.
ha-ha, thanks)
now i know which my status should be
After listening to every track i’m very disappointed. The OST feels absolutely uninspired and forgettable.
The music from the original composers was gold. Even the music for the dlc’s was memoriable, but this ..
I’m just sad.
Specifically looking for the Mp3 version.
Thanks!
You can get it here
https://masseffectarchives.com
You need to sign up with your account that will play the game (PSN, Xbox Gamertag, Origin account)
But I think you need to have played the game a bit, not the EA trail thing
Awful OST tbh. Not one memorable track.

This is why I don’t pre order lmao.
I really enjoyed the following two pieces:
– A Better Beginning
Especially from 2:40 onwards when the theme starts building momentum, if you check 3:15 a very light melody in the background (brass going slowly up and down) resembles some parts of the Suicide Mission or at least nods to them.
– A Trail of Hope
Probably the best one on the whole soundtrack. It at least gives me some thematic feeling and not just epic ups and downs with string and horns.
– Remnant
Don’t know why but this one sticks to me. Mostly because of the build up between 0:20 and 1:10 that starts exploding and 1:15 and developing into an awesome track.
But honorable mentions also include:
– Vault
– Exiled
The rest pretty much slips me. While some of it is good, I definitely won’t be humming a lot of these melodies. Bear in mind that I started playing ME1 – ME3 after listening to the ME2 soundtrack. Can’t help but wonder that this is a trend, strong non-orchestral tracks that just don’t have any life in them anymore. While I do like the style, I just can’t help to miss the good old days sometimes where the Zimmer (still like him as a composer) and Tron Legacy (adore the soundtrack) effect weren’t so popular yet.
Agreed, the exploration music is quite good. Whats the issue with game-ripping frostbite if I may ask? 🙂
Not 100% sure. There’s some early work at modding/file structure over here (https://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?p=22050#p22050). If I see anything I’ll link it here though.
Haven’t saw links at page 3.
