I was rather disappointed by the official soundtrack released last year, so I decided to make my own and reconstruct every chapter’s music as a complete atmospheric suite.

I’ve been sitting on this project for a few months. It was a slow process since the stream files are all over the place and the cues don’t always blend nicely together. Actually, the game audio engine itself is quite glitched and some themes change abruptly without any transitions or "bridges". Others don’t even have proper loops and are simply crossfaded or played back from the start after a hard cut.

I have not included the folk tune "Elsa Siljebo" at the end of Mountain Trek. It just didn’t work for the climax I was trying to achieve. If you miss it, you can find it in the OST.

This game rip is not perfect but it suits my needs. Hopefully you will enjoy it too.

I’m playing Unravel 2 right now and taking notes on how the dynamic soundtrack is working in the different chapters. I already got some precious technical help from members of this forum on how to extract the audio streams, and I’m confident I’ll be able to produce a complete game suite in the near future. Hopefully it won’t take a year 🙂
