FFShrine Discord Server

This was created by me, which I hope is not against the rules, Leon. I wanted a place for everyone to be able to chat, and Discord being free for everyone, I thought that it would be the best idea for everyone. Anyone that is a Moderator on the Shrine, can become a moderator on the Discord server if they wish. Just please don’t abuse the powers given to you, I want this to be a fresh start for everyone. You may notice that I have an alternate account, but it’s only used for testing the channel/voice channel permissions, etc. I would appreciate everyone only having one account, and if Mods or I have the suspicions of you having another account, you will be given a warning. (kick)

I really think that this is a good idea, and will help bring the community together, please feel free to join, and since this is a clean slate for everyone, a fresh start, try and get along with everyone, and don’t start any unnecessary drama.

This is a really, really good idea. I like Discord a lot. Problem is, that I already have 3 groups, and it’s enough for me but it’s got potential, so I’ll join.

It was made under the ‘if’ statement as to whether or not this Forums would ever close down. It’s for everyone to have fun and get along with one another.

Can’t think of any other than ‘it’s hip, it’s new, etc.’
In three or four years I bet people will have burned through it and it’ll be abandoned for some other instant-messaging service.

Discord is just a handy, convenient, efficient message app. The group is like a Shrine, but way more direct and quick, and better. And without music shares. What matters there is the talking. As for what makes Discord good, again, how quick, how good it is for messaging, simple as that, really.
