Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (Grant Kirkhope)

A pet project of mine over the past week. After wafting through a MEGA link that was posted years ago, and just sitting on my computer, that contained all the sound files for the game (not just music, but also sfx and voices). So yeah, finding files that was just music amongst the 1424 files was a bit of work, but I scraped through. Not one of Grant’s best, but still listenable, containing both original songs and arrangements from the Genesis version by Shigenori Kamiya.

NOTE: Whilst I was editing the pieces, I found that a few songs were missing from the archive, namely, all the segments for the Clock Maker boss and when you’re climbing Mizrabel’s Tower (before the final boss). So I’d say this is 98% complete. If anyone can find those songs and either post them in this thread or PM, that would be great.

Thanks. I feel your pain. I recently ripped music from the game and there were A LOT of MP3 files. A few thousand for the PS3 version. I still have them somewhere so could take a look if I knew which songs they were. Well can check youtube i guess. Nice you compiled them !

The original source material from the game files is FSB MPEG MP3.

MP3 starts heavily cutting down on frequencies above 16kHz so that is as probably as good as you will get without an officially released commercial soundtrack.
