Richard Marvin – U-571 (ALAC)

I wanted to finally make a contribution to the community here!

There are great posters with great, hard to find material so I could not see anything among my collection to post. Save for this: U-571 by Richard Marvin in Apple Lossless!

I ordered this years ago from the infamous Super Collector store in California. Lucky for me, I got my copy safely! I ripped it using iTunes Apple Lossless settings.

The music is great, but the the sound recording isn’t well mastered, in my opinion. Perhaps someone else can take these files and clean them up?

Allow me to fix just one major flaw which is to put the tracklist in film order, because it becomes an entirely different experience to hear the themes evolve and the action intensify…
I simply don’t understand as to why the album starts with End Credits and one of the best action cues that happens halfway through the movie. The order makes no sense whatsoever. So here it is:

03 – Material Office
07 – S-33 Leaves Port
12 – Enigma Photo-Swastika
14 – Lock and Load
15 – Taking The U-571
19 – Searching Below
