[Request] NieR: Automata Game Rip OSTs

Since the game is released on japan… could someone be so kind to rip the soundtracks from the game??

Is it possible yet to get into PS4 data files and actually rip the sound files out?

Or is the only real option before the official soundtrack release to stream directly from the game and record it.

No one has released the decryption keys for PS4 PKG files yet.

We’ll have to wait for the PC release to do a proper game rip. Someone will probably do a line-in rip at some point I imagine.

PC release is coming out on March 10th, so I’m sure something will be out within a couple days of that.

Regrettably, that was confirmed as an error and release date hasn’t been announced for Steam releases as of yet.

If nothing else, the official OST is out March 29th! But yeah, hopefully someone rips it in the meanwhile!

It was never confirmed as an error, theirs a marketing deal going on between Square and Sony that permits them mentioning anything about the Steam release towards its launch. The original trailer uploaded on Square’s press site listed the Steam release date, it should be out as the trailer said on March 10th.

March 29th can’t get here any sooner! I can’t wait to listen to it either way. I’ve got it preordered for PS4. All that remains is to play the waiting game.

I know the official release date for the soundtrack is March 29th but didn’t the Black Box Edition come with the soundtrack as well? Would of thought someone by now would of uploaded the songs they ripped from the CD 🙁 it’ll be worth the wait though the soundtrack is beautiful so far, especially Rays of Light

really surprised that there isn’t any rip yet, the full soundtrack with every variation is already on youtube!

I guess we are going to have to wait until the PC version is released. Maybe there isn’t that many people on ffshrine that are fans of the series or not willing to upload this gamerip for other reasons.

So, has anyone been able to rip the music from the pc version? All the music files appear to be in .wsp files, and after researching about them, i can’t find a way to get the audio out of them.

Can you explain how you did it?

Also, would it be possible for you to do it for Drakengard 3 as well? It should be easier, as the game uses unreal engine and it’s a ps3 game.
I think soundtracks like these really make it worth to have the separated music layers to listen to.

Also the method to get the .wem files is to extract with VGMToolbox RIFF preset.
