Explanation: Found this on Zophars domain while looking for the movie OST, it was in a MINIUSF format originally so my guess is that this was ripped from the N64 version of the game released only in Japan, all of the titles are in English though, and all of the music is identical to its gamecube release outside of Japan besides KK Ballad Aircheck, which seems to have been revamped in the Gamecube release.

Woah this is amazing!! I would love to have the other Animal Crossing games in FLAC too. Is this possible to do? Are FLAC versions of the other games available anywhere? I play these albums on loop all the time for my cats with my multi-room system.

And i’m pretty sure you can make your own gamerip of Wild World from DS audio files which can be find easily by googling (and then convert them to standard audio format with the appropriate component for foobar, like vgmstream)

Also there are the WII U Designer game audio files around.

Can’t upload them for your thought, sorry, but i’m lacking of space and my computer is lagging too much, this would almost get me depressed. Also have a really bad upload speed

Yeah I have my own copy of "Your Favourite Songs" thanks for the link for New Leaf, I am sure the cats will enjoy the extra kHz! I have tried doing some searching around here before for FLAC before. I guess all I really need now to convert my current library is to find Wild World and City Folk. If you ever get around to uploading the other two in FLAC or find them or the others I listed let me know! Cheers and +rep!

No this is the N64 version, look at KK Ballad Aircheck, it’s completely revamped in the CG version. It’s odd though, if it wasn’t for that one, I think I wouldn’t have noticed. Thanks for the soundtrack anyway! xD

No, you need either Foo2K or Winamp for this, since you need the appropriate plugin/component to read those audio files. It doesn’t take too much time, like 1-4 min

Do you have the tag information on these files? Foobar keeps trying to overwrite the hourly times because they are all named the same times and there are two sets of AM and PMs as well as Noon and Midnight.

Edit: For anyone wondering, I listened to the different hourly tracks, and one set is normal, and the other is for Winter. The Winter versions will have sleigh bells. So use that as a reference, for renaming the tracks in foobar before converting.

Thank you so much for this rip! Quite frankly one of the best rips of the original Animal Crossing I’ve seen. My only comment is because this is the Japanese N64 release, it’s missing the localized version of the song "New Year’s Wish," which is different on the Japanese version.
