These are the unreleased soundtrack cues from the 1982 comedy-thriller film Deathtrap, starring Michael Caine, Christopher Reeve and Dyan Cannon. Its one of my favourite films, and the harpsichord-led soundtrack led to creepy and sinister tones of the film.
I received these originally untracked and in random order, so I’ve separated them and added my own titles to the cues. It sounds as though some previous owner has tried to clear up the analogue hiss but it has resulted in a great loss of quality; nevertheless as an unreleased soundtrack, I was shocked the files existed in any capacity at all.
If anyone has greater sound quality and would be willing to share, that would be super!

What a brilliant writing from Johnny Mandel and what an outstanding performance from the musicians!!!
Listening to this score reveals ALL we have lost nowadays in terms of quality in every aspect of film scoring!
It brings sadness for everything we have lost as much as joy in listening such high-grade musicality!
THANK YOU Ryuran333!
Great film and a wonderful score. Thanks! Shame this was never officially released.
Just watching this again tonight and thought I’d randomly check to see if it was on here
honestly did not expect to find it!
thanks sooo much for this!

Sidney Bruhl : Clifford, my dear, in your run-ins with the law, in your infancy so to speak, did any of the doctors, policemen, shrinks, did any of them ever use… the… word…?
Clifford Anderson : What word Sidney?
Sidney Bruhl : Sociopath?
Clifford Anderson : Does that word… frighten you, Sidney?
Sidney Bruhl : No, no. It does however, give me pause.
