Wait.. this is not the City of Prague Philarmonic Orchestra. D: Why’d VGMdb lie to me like that? 🙁
Still though, music’s pretty neat!

It sounds magnificent. It’s a pity it doesn’t seem to be arranged by the Philamornic because Grant’s cartoony tracks would soon magnificent with real instruments, like most of the things he does. I hope he has the chance to do that in the future. Wasn’t an arrange by Philarmonic a reached goal in the Kickstarter? Maybe they haven’t had time to record the music yet.
any chance for mp3 as well?

waiting for the download to finish, but that’s a shame to hear, I was looking forward to hearing some N&B level orchestrations..
edit2: okay after a quick peek, most of the tracks we heard or are variations of the first level’s music (we even heard hivory towers’ theme in the trailer), I’m thinking they didn’t want to spoil the music we havn’t heard yet and perhaps they recorded with an orchestra but keeping the final tracks for the release.

Use Foobar with LAME. There is a link on my sig for a portable Foobar with everything you need. Recommanding VBR 0 (V0) because it have the same quality as 320k while being smaller than it
After N&B and Viva Pinata, I can’t go back, I want more!
I know he was at the orchestra a short while ago, wonder what’s going on.
As a huge fan of kirkhope’s, The tracks are great but could DEFINITELY benefit from an orchestra as the midi sound might not fit a game with modern graphics.
I wholeheartedly agree! Kirkhope and orchestra is a great mix! I loved N&B and Viva Piata. And to a lesser extent, Cityville 2 had some great ones too
Indeed, all their stretch goals were reached (in a very short period of time!)
My guess is that these tracks are demos, or the orchestral performance hasn’t been recorded, or it’s aSkyward Sword situation where they say it’s an ‘orchestral score’ when in reality only boss themes have a real orchestra behind them.
Music was recorded in November, so it was assumed that this CD would include the live versions.

Good luck. He’s pretty selective about the tweets he responds to. 😉
I asked yesterday, No response.
Usually Grant answers’ ah well.
🙂

Or it might be a soundtrack where some songs are performed by a live orchestra and some made with MIDI’s and samples. It’s just a guess.
FlacSquisher is a great (free) tool for quickly converting if needed. I would have done it myself but I was a little pushed for time when uploading the FLAC version.
Thank you!
