Twister (2016) Score [Expanded Tracks]

Hey all, this is my first contribution to the forums here. I’m a huge fan of the movie Twister and was super excited as I’m sure many of you were when La-La Land Records announced their recent remastered and expanded score. And while it was fantastic, there were versions of 2 tracks I wished had been included. That has now been rectified as I have created two custom tracks for your listening pleasure. They are:

1) "Dorothy IV / The Wonder of Nature" (2:48 length); a custom edit of "Dorothy IV" that has the blended excerpt of "Child of Time" by Deep Purple and which also includes the original score release track of "William Tell / Oklahoma Medley," which was omitted from the La-La Land release for some reason. This track is 99.9% identical to what you hear in the film.
2) "Walk in the Woods / Humans Being" (3:37 length); a custom edit of "Walk in the Woods" that has the blended fade into Van Halen’s "Humans Being" at the end. Again, this track is basically 99.9% identical to what you hear in the film.

Thanks. Do you plan on doing anything else with the LLL release? Making any other custom film edits?

I also made a film version edit of "Walk in the Woods", love that cue.

DAKoftheOTA, no, I don’t have any other plans to create other custom tracks at the moment. Not sure what else I would do since I feel like these 2 are the critical ones that are missing. I’m open to ideas though.

I’ve never seen the film all the way through and I’m not familiar with the score at all. It’s just that film mixes are always vastly superior to the album edits/cues as they were originally recorded, and I always prefer them. That’s why I asked if you had more, and that’s why I have no ideas for you.
