I discovered the joys of Hi-Res Audio sometime last summer (late to the party, I know) but since then I’ve been on a quest to find my favourite albums in Hi-Res quality.
To you I present, as an offering for all the cool stuff I’ve found on here (and it’s pretty hard to find one that’s not a vinyl rip – I bought this from an online Japanese music retailer), the 24bit, 96kHz version of Steven Price’s Oscar-winning score to Gravity.
Enjoy!

Thanks. I always thought the direction Steven Price chose on this score sounded similar to what Marc Streitenfeld (not the more melodic motifs and cues written by Harry Gregson-Williams) did a year earlier with Prometheus.
I haven’t heard the score to Prometheus – I was attracted to this score as I find it quite soothing.
