Sky High (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) – Michael Giacchino [Apple Lossless]

The new Intrada release that came out this past week or so. Finally got ahold of it, I’ve heard great things about this score so I figured that I’d purchase it to support one of my favorite composers.

Wow! Thanks, Lockdown! I’ve never even heard this score (aside from within the film), and wasn’t aware that there wasn’t an album in the first place. This is pretty cool for it to be a first time release of the score.

It wasn’t until I started listening to this score that I realized how similar to Medal of Honor (like Airborne; "Unblocking Utah" in particular) and Secret Weapons Over Normandy (more so than MOH) it was – with more of a super-heroic edge. 🙂
