I cant find clean rips anywhere, the only one I could find on this site is unlistenable and using youtube mp3 is a no no for me, any help?

I haven’t listened to the other rips of this music so I don’t have anything to compare to, but I’m not going to say this is the highest of qualities either since the source files are 32768 Hz sample rate. You can let me know if it sounds similar to what you’ve already heard.

I ripped the BGM file from a decrypted rom and used tools provided by BtEO on the hcs forums to rip the files and add a header to them. The original .g1l files play in Foobar and I converted them to MP3 V0.

hmm maybe its a itunes thing, because when I play the tracks there the sound gets weird and garbley on the high notes (also nothing is tagged)

Yeah, it’s not tagged because it wasn’t tagged in the files I ripped and I have no idea what the titles are.

I haven’t tried playing it in iTunes (which has been reported to not work well with 32000 Hz sample rate) but it doesn’t sound distorted in Foobar2000.
