Lovely music. Thanks for sharing.

The first opus was such a re-discovery for me. I’ve been listening to it every day. Unbelievable that this sequel did not get a proper release until now. Considering that Mr. Poledouris knows how to expand and enrich his music when he works on a sequel, I would be thrilled to discover his work. I know there was a bootleg edition featuring around 40 minutes of this music but never had the opportunity to listen to it. Never saw this film either. PM sent.

Link received. Thank you very much, FilmscoreFan! This score is more subdued than the first one. No more swirling waltzes but a more classic approach. I can hear some influences from “Farewell to the King” composed in 1989. Basil, The Barbarian was a romantic and this score shows it beautifully.

I just saw the movie for the first time and found this score to be the highlight. Thanks for granting me a listen, FilmscoreFan.
