Damn, I mean, oh my, it’s a bit hard to believe that I’m looking at this…thanks at any rate!
Quite unexpected. :p
Thanks! It’s better than that mono crap, right? :p
Going to get some club soda and mix it with pomegranite juice and kick in the old chair play this softly through a vinyl VST in Foobar and dim the lights.
Many thanks for this!
I give you nude mermaids and you had a shitty evening? Ouch.
:p
Sounds a lot like Scorepranos to me lol
most welcome 🙂
Great to have Michael Giacchino’s JURASSIC WORLD in complete form.
Excellent score – as his more recent score to STAR WARS : ROGUE ONE is too.
Development of thematic material not as inspired as by the greats like Williams, Goldsmith or Horner
but he continues the old "Silver Age" tradition of purely orchestral scoring – and that’s the biggest plus in these days.
Thanks again for making these marvellous Giacchino scoring sessions available. Kind regards.
xD Now Now one miracle at a time! *cough*Prisoner of Azkaban*cough*
We’re more likely to get last year’s Giacchino scores and maybe some of this year’s earlier first. I expect to see Zootopia and Inside Out before Rogue One.
(I would have also said Star Trek Beyond, but the DE, actually being complete for a change, renders a bootleg leak completely meaningless)
(I would have also said Star Trek Beyond, but the DE, actually being complete for a change, renders a bootleg leak completely meaningless)
Plus it would contain tracks off a Varese CD so therefore it is against the rules here on the Shrine
It is Scorepranos / Jeff, of course !
Indeed. In any case, it’s a moot point because the Varese release contains everything anyway, which makes a nice change.
How much complete is the FYC & OST? I thought it was pretty complete, but I’m not sure. For sure are missing the Williams’s sections of the End Credits and the last part of "Today of All Days".

HOLY CRAP IF THIS IS REAL THANK YOU!!!!!!!
it’s an UTOPIA!!!,
no it’s not, it’s SCORETOPIA 😀 😀
I do hope Zootopia is next. Come on, Santa, I don’t mind if you’re late! :p
Gosh, do I miss the times of the Shrine when wanted scores actually leaked. It was exciting.

I hope so too. It’s my second favourite Giacchino score this year. But I don’t see this happening too soon. Then again, I wasn’t expecting this either, so anything was possible.
Bold indicates the whole track is unreleased, whereas italic indicates the track is partially unreleased. I haven’t really delved through everything yet, but most of the longer OST tracks had microedits in them. I know Jurassic World Suite omitted the piano version of Giacchino’s Jurassic World theme for sure, and the original Our Rex is Bigger Than Your Rex has a different statement of the Lost World theme. For the most part the OST edited in the inserts with exception for The Dimorphodon Shuffle: the insert was used in the film but not in the OST track.

Let the ‘topia’ of your name be a reminder that the score for Zootopia is coming soon too! 😀
Titanic would be amazing. 😛
So would a complete T2.
Twister Expanded is coming out in January from LLL. So the year is starting off right, for sure!
Yeah. It was bad.

THANKS FOR THE COVERS
covers, back & front
but of course it is. I’d already been told he had the lossless sessions, so this downgrade makes sense.
Anyway, thanks!
happy new year!
cheers
top kek
I surmise leaking bad scores in extremely low quality is the new cool these days.
I surmise leaking bad scores in extremely low quality is the new cool these days.
That was always cool, but this is a decent score in decent quality.

Look, I love your work on Interstellar, but just where do you come off trolling threads like this? It’s not my fault that bootlegs ROUTINELY leak in lower quality than this. Compared to those, this quality IS decent. It used to be damn near every "320" bootleg I saw on here was really just a transcode from a 128k source. Finally, people seem to be learning not to do that.
But anyway, I don’t care if you don’t like Jurassic World. Go talk about it in some other thread. Or talk about scores you actually do appreciate. Why rain on everybody else’s parade?

While I appreciate that you want to fan-girl over this score, but here’s the deal — it’s about integrity. When most people post a score in 225k, it’s because it is genuinely the only source of the material they posses. Plenty of people post these scores without wanting anything in return, even when they very well could hoard them and sell them for cash or trade them. But then you have dishonest, greedy trading-circle cronies such as Jeff (OP) (and others) who do possess the lossless copies of the score that they discreetly downgrade and (register fresh accounts) post in 160kbps, who only do it to position themselves better in the trading circle or get back at people who’ve ripped them off (they get scammed, post the score so the said ‘scammer’ can’t profit from it). If Jeff posts a score, it’s almost always for selfish reasons. Not because he wants to share anything with you or "allow" you listen to music you enjoy. It’s about money, and they deserve to be called out for that. These people are cancerous.
Some of you may turn the blind eye and say "oh but now I get to hear this score—who cares about waiting 10+ years for Jeff to finally post it?", which is almost equally as wrong and you should stop the mental gymnastics.
And furthermore, you don’t get to dictate who does or does not comment in a thread, you have no authority here.
ALSO. Thanks for sharing this. A wonderful score, now with so much more to explore!
very much appreciated 🙂
There is always a lossless version

He’s also posted plenty a score in 224k…..which is quite a specific bitrate. This may be 256 (which is totally fine by me, I’m glad it’s nothing less), but TWS & CW are 224….

Yup.. I think you are right
Keeps the lossless versions a little more valuable to those willing to pay or trade.
Keeps the lossless versions a little more valuable to those willing to pay or trade.
And it’s so the op can "track" it. It wouldn’t surprise me if some cue names were slightly altered for the same reason.
You would be surprised…it doesn’t really diminish the value much at all.
People are willing to pay top dollar for lossless sources, lossy sources to many users are worth just about nothing.
I know a few personally who won’t even listen to lossy sourced music.

That is so damn silly. It doesn’t make a difference. My preference is absolutely to have the best source, but it doesn’t matter! You can’t tell (unless the compression was poorly done).
Lol.. I don’t think he is so meticulous

They sound autistic.

I understand how this whole shitty system works, but thanks for the lecture.
Some of you may turn the blind eye and say "oh but now I get to hear this score—who cares about waiting 10+ years for Jeff to finally post it?", which is almost equally as wrong and you should stop the mental gymnastics.
Uh, well, we want to hear the music and this is one of the few ways we can, so unless you’ve got an alternative system for us, no one cares to hear your bitching.
While I appreciate that you want to fan-girl over this score…
I don’t even like this score that much. I think it’s fine. Somewhat underrated, certainly better than a lot think it is, but not even Giacchino’s best effort that year.
And furthermore, you don’t get to dictate who does or does not comment in a thread, you have no authority here.
At no point did I dictate anything. I just wanted you to leave the people in this thread alone. They’ve done nothing to you.
Thank you very much for this!
