Piano Arrangement CD mp3/flac added.
My thanks for your efforts to share with us 😀
Thanks for sharing these much respect
I always credit for music I took from ffshrine. Please don’t ever make misunderstood posts like this when you know nothing about how my website works.
Currently uploading flac for Original Soundtrack, will take a bit of time so hang on a little while longer guys, then I’ll move onto the Regalia Playlist most likely tomorrow.
Also if I ever have a bit of extra time, I will scan in the accompanying booklet and official covers for all soundtracks. Current ones up are my own covers I quickly put together.
I have already credit your name above my download link in the beginning as I always do for other ffshrine reupload, you can check it again.
I’m not here for arguing something meaningless like #15, so if you want me to take down my link or do something else, feel free to ask.
Btw, I knew your piano arrangement cover was custom, but it’s really nice so I decided to post it too. Just add credit for it in my blog post.

Not here to argue either. 🙂
I was wondering if all the music were credited properly, because i know that yuko didn’t actually compose all the music herself, was wondering if there is more information on who did what in the accompanying booklet or something

It’s clear she didn’t, unfortunately the booklet does not state otherwise on credit for individual pieces, just gives the base tracklist. 🙁
All extra credit is compiled at the back of the booklet, the additional composers are Tetsuya Shibata, Yoshino Aoki and Yoshitaka Suzuki, but seems all credit for the entire soundtrack has been given to Shimomura herself.
the tags came straight from the disc itself for all tracks, it’s a shame as I’d love to know also who composed what pieces for tagging purposes as well.

So they actually didn’t credit probably themselves and not some error, that’s really unfortunate 🙁
regardless, thanks for answering and once again thanks for the upload, i really appreciate it! 🙂
thank you so much ;D
This is such a tasty treat since I just platinumed the game earlier tonight.
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
So are these the mp3 exports proposed by the blu-ray disc ? (for the main OST)
I’m looking forward to the missing bonus discs and the flac version
Enjoy guys! I’ll be scanning in the booklet asap then moving onto the Regalia Collection, but please be patient with me as it may take a couple days, over 900 minutes of audio I need to compile and tag from the mkvs, so it will be a little bit of a wait for it. Thanks again guys.
OMG !!! Thank you !!!
So are these the mp3 exports proposed by the blu-ray disc ? (for the main OST)
And yes, MP3 folder taken directly from the bluray as was.
Must know, any information on lyrics?
Unfortunately not I’m afraid. Booklet contains the Soundtrack tracklist, thankyou note by Yoko Shimomura/Hajime Tabata, a small interview with all composers (this is unfortunately in Japanese), and credits. It shows that Tetsuya Nomura has been given credits for original (guessing Somnus) lyrics and others for the Latin Translation/Adaptation.
I just ordered the OST on CDJapan.
curious about the channel properties said "2ch FL FR", is that cut from 5.1ch source?
Many thanks !

As far as I am aware of the source is PCM 2.0 Channel for the OST.
By the way I’m still recuperating from the listening… it took my breath! O.O : D >.< : D

I believe composer breakdowns are in the MP3 OST, but Shimomura was given artist credit for all weirdly enough (I blame SE for lazy tagging as well as myself for not seeing it sooner) I did miss this earlier as somebody else asked about tags in the MP3’s, I didn’t properly look, so sorry about that! 🙁
I had a proper look after all the ripping etc.., I can give a complete breakdown for everyone so they are able to tag them if you’d like, or I can re-upload with correct tags. Again sorry about missing it out on the flac files.
That would be great! No harm about not having a FLAC (at least for me) but I know how many appreciate it.
No worries, thanks for understanding. 🙂
Here’s the breakdown for everyone. (I’ll re-up anything I can with new tags just to save others the worry of having to retag it all)

Much more left to do! Regalia Playlist is 302 tracks total. 5.6GB in flac format, source audio unfortunately is 48Khz/16Bit, but it’ll be worth it once complete and uploaded for everyone. 🙂
What is that playlist by the way?
By the way, the tracklist for the piano arrangement album is slightly different from just the original tracks they cover.
Here’s what’s listed on the website:
01. Dreaming of the Dawn -Somnus-
02. Waltzing amid Moonbeams -Valse di Fantastica-
03. Midnight Waves on the Water -Disquiet-
04. A Fading Summer’s Eve -Relax and Reflect-
05. Drunk on Darkness -Veiled in Black-
06. Snowfall in My Heart -Melancholia-
All music that is playable when travelling in the Regalia in game. Pretty much a collection of Final Fantasy music from FF1-FFXIV 🙂
Thank you very much for this!

Wait so are these old or new music?
Old, all from past Final Fantasy games, nothing new, but I’ll upload it none the less.
I see thanks much appreciated
Start to enjoy the music Made by Yoko Shimomura
Many thanks for the upload.
All links now contain all correct tags. Thanks for your patience guys. 🙂
FYI, I get a data error when extracting the OST (FLAC) using 7-zip – track 55 is affected, but it seems a corrupted version of this file appears in the part2 folder, but an OK copy of the file for track 55 is there in the part1 folder.
Many thanks for the upload.
Ah sorry! I’ve checked on my end and both extracted into one folder no problem with WinRAR, I’ll have another test run and see what happens with different programs.

I tried with 7zip and it didn’t work, with WinRar it worked perfectly!
Apologies! There isn’t any compression issue I can see, but somebody else may be able to shed more light onto why it’s doing so. Or could be an issue with 7zip, but I don’t know why it’s acting up with 7zip. 🙁
Again sorry about that! But at least it worked perfect with WinRAR for you.
Again sorry about that! But at least it worked perfect with WinRAR for you.
Don’t you worry 🙂 Yeah, it probably is an issue with 7zip! Anyway, thanks again for your work! 😀
No worries. Again thanks for understanding and sorry I didn’t tag appropriately the first time around.
Don’t you worry 🙂 Yeah, it probably is an issue with 7zip! Anyway, thanks again for your work! 😀
Most likely seeing as WinRAR is fine with it no problem, so may be a 7zip issue, thanks again. 🙂
It’s likely a problem with 7zip not recognizing the files as parts of the same archive. Rename the files to wtv_part1.rar / wtv_part2.rar and they should work.
And thank you for the rip. Cheers.
Makes sense. As I mentioned, a working instance of track 55 is placed inside the first folder upon extraction, so it was just to inform the uploader and anyone experiencing a similar issue.
And thank you for the rip. Cheers.
Thanks for the clarification. 🙂 files renamed to avoid issues for future downloads.

Thanks for letting me know, had abbreviated them as pt1/pt2, so it probably caused the issue with 7zip when extracting.
you could’ve put the tracks’ names also in the files, not only in the tags hahah but we forgive ya for that
So Regalia’s sounds are coming up next, right? Man, don’t ya think 5 GB FLAC will be too much in MEGA!?

Are you referring to the mp3 OST? I didn’t touch the file names on those to my knowledge, but I did on the flacs. (Sorry about that again aha, juggling all the tagging/ripping with work wasn’t the best idea!)
And as for the Regalia Soundtrack, I’ll most likely just do mp3 as it’s just a compilation of pieces from each FF soundtrack, and would probably be a waste of a lot of storage being kept at flac really when mp3 should be sufficient enough considering the source is 48Khz/16Bit.
Exactly. Anyway, it’s a charm I guess the names only in the tags hahah.
And as for the Regalia Soundtrack, I’ll most likely just do mp3 as it’s just a compilation of pieces from each FF soundtrack
If you ask me this is just a way for SQEX to relive the past as if saying "Those were the days"…

I’m hoping the regular soundtrack has more information on composer and arranger credits but am not holding my breath.
It does don’t worry! All appropriate tags have been changed accordingly to each tracks. I missed this at the beginning as all artist tags were labelled to Shimomura for all tracks as opposed to the actual composers of each tracks, but all resolved.
Exactly. Anyway, it’s a charm I guess the names only in the tags hahah.
If you ask me this is just a way for SQEX to relive the past as if saying "Those were the days"…
I know what you mean though, understand why it is preferred that way for file reasons for others.
And as for the Regalia Playlist, it’s pretty much that. Shame it doesn’t contain all playlists for each game, as opposed to SE just hand picked pieces to go in the game and in turn on this playlist.
Mines is still somewhere in Japan being shipped here to the US. Thanks for this!

No worries thanks!
Regalia Collection will get done soon, just a bit of a juggle with work and tagging them in spare time. I’ll chuck the mp3 up when it’s all complete, and if people do want the flac [48Khz/16Bit] I can upload if needed. 🙂
so, looking at this page, there’s four bonuses:
"Bonus 1: Bonus tracks only available in the limited edition!
Theme song “Stand by Me” (Florence + the Machine) / Behind-the-scenes of the Boston recording session, among others."
Can you upload this?

Would greatly thank you for that if possible, thanks.

I can upload the original mkv files for both!
I don’t want to completely disappoint you on the Behind-the-scenes… but it is just a selection of in-game clips and small snippets of live recordings of the Boston recording put together to a music piece for just over 2 minutes. 🙁

FLAC would be much appreciated, especially for the archive I have set up for the franchise currently.

I mean, might as well upload ’em for completion’s sake, but that is a bit disappointing. Is "Stand By Me" the exact same version as on the Florence + The Machine Songs from FFXV EP?
As far as I am aware of yes. I’ve put download links for both mkv files on the original thread post. :),
And yep is a shame there wasn’t more to it then pretty much a snippet ‘music video’. With behind the Scenes I expected more than what was given.

Noted, will do both. eta on the Regalia Collection is the next couple of days, trying to get all tagging done in spare time. Will definitely be up for everybody by the 25th at the latest. Thanks again for your patience guys. 🙂
Thanks for this btw! Helped to ease my anxiety to listen to this beautiful soundtrack. Just got my copy today of the limited edition. Such a sleek design on the case too.
It’s the bonus disc listed under the Limited Edition on VGMDB.
Technically we now have 1 (96 tracks) & 3 (the piano arrangement).
Disc 2 is not the Final Fantasy I Original Soundtrack, it is the Regalia collection that the uploader is going through currently because there are over hundreds of tracks collected from all the generations of Final Fantasies.
I suppose "In Dreams" only plays in the Platinum Demo? It’s the only track from the Platinum Demo’s soundtrack that isn’t on the full game’s soundtrack. I suppose it makes sense for a track with a name like that to only be used in a dream sequence like the Platinum Demo.
Ahh that would make sense. I didn’t actually play the Platinum Demo so I might give it a try now since it seems like it’s not part of the canon story. I wonder if this means there might be a FINAL FANTASY XV PLUS soundtrack on the horizon? hahaa

It’s canon. Not that you miss out on much by not playing it. It’s related to some flashbacks in the Brotherhood anime, and to why a young Noctis was in Tenebrae at one point.
I’m sure there will be a XV Plus soundtrack (I expect there to be some music in the DLC that isn’t in the main game, so it makes sense). Right now, In Dreams is available on the Ultimate Collector’s Edition soundtrack, which can be found elsewhere on this forum.
czoltan, you mentioned the Regalia disc having music from FFI-XIV. What about the other Regalia music? In the game, there’s music for Type-0, Dissidia and Dissidia Duodecim, and some original music ("Braver" by Afrojack and the Lucian Cruising Collection)
Type-0, Dissidia, Dissidia Duodecim, Justice Monsters Five & Kingsglaive are additional soundtracks along with FFI-XIV (including PLUS and small extra tracks to additional content) on this. Unfortunately Afrojack’s FFXV single nor is the Lucian Cruising Collection part of the Regalia Playlist Bluray. God knows why, the Lucian Crusing Collection would have been a good addition. Considering Dissidia/Dissidia Duodecim takes up nearly 1/3 of the entire collection itself. 🙁
Maybe Square will put those on yet another release and try and get some more bank from FFXV. XD
Merry Christmas guys!
I’ll be able to keep my copy of Regalia Cd sealed.
Thanks for your patience guys. Safe to say I’m done with this now after all that tagging. So I hope everyone enjoys! 🙂
Very much thanks for your efforts to share this gem with us 🙂
All my thanks!
yup flac has same errors lol
But my Regalia archive is corrupted 🙁 Can somebody please upload these files for me in flac? It would be highly appreciated.
Final Fantasy IV Original Soundtrack – Track No – 5
Final Fantasy XIII Original Soundtrack – Track No – 4, 5, 6, 9, 10
Edit: Turns out I’m missing more than I had thought. Gonna have to download it again :_(
also, Dark City Treno is listed as "Chapter Dark City Treno" and the Dissidia Duodecim version of Final Fantasy and Cantata Mortis are both listed as track 43 on that album (Cantata Mortis should be track 44)
other than that things seem to be tagged correctly
other than that things seem to be tagged correctlyHe’s done everything himself. Isn’t it enough?

I’m not criticizing him! I’m pointing out errors so that people can know what to fix after they download it.
I didn’t mean to sound like I was denigrating the tremendous effort he put in to do all this. I’m sorry if it came off that way.
15 In Dreams 3:43
24 Prelude (for World of Wonder) 2:56
25 NOX AETERNA (E3 2013 Trailer) – Bonus Track 3:41
26 Fight Fantastica (TGS 2014 Trailer) – Bonus Track 2:28
27 Veiled Aggression (Jump Fiesta 2015 Trailer) – Bonus Track 2:22
28 Song of the Stars – Dawn (Gamescom 2015 Trailer) – Bonus Track 2:55
29 APOCALYPSIS NOCTIS (Uncovered Trailer) – Bonus Track 2:13
I went ahead and uploaded them separately to help anyone else who’s interested in having them be part of the original soundtrack (but doesn’t want to download the entire soundtrack again just for those tracks). FWIW.
Note: The track numbers were labelled in the 100s to retain the original track numbers and append them to the end of the original soundtrack. I haven’t gone through listening to the entire soundtrack yet, so as far as I can tell, this is it. If I missed anything, please feel free to point it out.

There’s an Unreleased Trailer Music Collection that comes with the soundtrack if you order it from Amazon in Japan
and there’s the Platinum Demo soundtrack, with In Dreams on it, albeit not downloadable or transferable to a computer by normal means
The only thing truly exclusive to the Ultimate Collector’s Edition is the World of Wonder Prelude and the Brotherhood tracks (although, again, In Dreams is for all practical purposes exclusive as well)
Seconded. This would be amazing.
The soundtrack sounds quite a bit better when listening to it at a good volume on its own. I think it was greatly overshadowed in the game with all of the action and voice acting going on.
Is there sound above 22 kHz? Is the dynamic range higher? Is the noise floor lower? Some analysis and hard data would be appreciated.
I’m asking mainly to be better able to decide between this and the CD version.
Thank you, czoltan, for the share.
Edit: So i’ve checked some tracks from the Ultimate Collector’s Edition Blu-ray. Indeed, there is sound above 22 kHz, all the way up to 48 kHz, but there’s very rarely anything above 26 kHz. The dynamic range is also higher. Overall, I think the over triple file size this requires (compared to CD-quality 44.1 kHz 16-bit) isn’t worth it, you need exceptional ears and exceptional audio equipment to notice the small (if any) increase in fidelity.
2nd: The is a Volume 2 Collection with the newer Stuff (5xCD or 2xBD)**. I’ll highly appreciate the 2xBD version, if you can offer it in Hi-Res FLAC too (on MEGA)!
Edit: I’ve found the 5xCD version, which is already in this thread: Thread 209701
