That [Lossless FLAC / mp3] in the title means that there are some mp3 cues in an otherwise Lossless FLAC set.
You can easily downconvert FLAC to mp3 with Audacity.

Here’s how it started: recently I posted the FYC Promo (Thread 208980) for "007 Skyfall", and immediately saw the immense potential it had: combining the FYC cues and OST, we could finally get a lossless Expanded Score for Thomas Newman’s great score.
The main issue with the For Your Consideration was that 9 cues featured arrangements from other composers’ Bond themes and were edited out for the Promo Score. Luckily, almost all of them were avaible on the Official Release (all except the full-lenth opening of the movie), and I started working on this project shortly after I posted the Promo.
This way, I found even some Alternates and slightly different versions of some cues, that I put into the third disc of this set, while I left the film score in the first 2 discs.
Let’s say that this is an almost-Complete Score, since only two cues from the score are totally missing from this set (I already left room for them as I was numbering the cues). I didn’t include the source music cues.

I also took some cues from KaFaraqGatri’s set (Thread 77043) (unfortunately, mp3), I’m looking forward to replace them as soon as I get them in lossless quality.

Keep in mind that I’d love to make a Film Mix for this score, but because of countless microedits, inserts, alternate and missing sections (that have to be ripped from the Blu-Ray), I’m not able to do it. Almost every cue in the movie is different from this version I present here.
But it would be great if anyone (maybe TylerakaSyn? Or DAKoftheOTA?) could craft it! 😀

why using skyfall song in mp3 when it is available in flac from Skyfall single album!?

Shortly after posting the FYC Promo, before I even started working on this set, I went to college. There, I was not permitted to download or upload stuff. As I was working on this set, I just had the Official Score, the Promo and KFG’s mp3 set. I used the latter for the cues I didn’t have in lossless.
I came back home just the other day and I didn’t have time to search and replace all of the three "Skyfall" cues (film version of the main titles, standard and instrumental version) in time for Christmas.
I’m currently working on it. I just need to find the Film Version, in lossless and stereo.
I also need the lossless & stereo End Credits. I doubt I’ll find the lossless Alternate to "Bond Shaved" before the sessions will leak. As for the Film Openings of "Ronson / Cars" and "Breadcrumbs", I’d have to work on the BD rip, but I cannot do that.

I don’t have an mp3 version of the entire set. The [Lossless FLAC / mp3] in the title is due to the presence of a few mp3 cues (sourced from KFG’s set) in an otherwise Lossless FLAC set.
You can easily convert FLAC to mp3 using Audacity.

Most of this release (sort of 85%) is copy-paste from the FYC. Those FYC cues that featured sections cut away because of the Academy rules have been restored using OST sections.
Anyway, I’ll try to re-upload it as well! 😀

My work wasn’t actually that hard, thanksfully! My friend HunterTech gave me links for the FYC Promo in lossless, and that was sort of 90% of this set already done! I simply needed to listen carefully for other, slightly different versions of some cues and restoring a few sections from the OST in 9 FYC cues. I also took the mp3 cues from KaFaraqGatri’s set 🙂

I’ll openly post the link for this Expanded Score, since I’m going to be very busy and have little free time. I’m also planning an Updated version, with more tracks and Lossless upgrades of the mp3 cues, but it won’t happen before a few months.

As for that thing I said, that little Update I wanted to do is going to take much more time.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a link for those. I have already made room for them because I’m planning a BD-rip for them. But as I was starting that, I discovered that there’s much more music to be ripped from the BD. Thus, it will take a long time, also because I’m in college and I’m unable to upload music until June.
But when the time comes, I’ll surely do it! 😀

I had actually forgotten about that :laugh:
Though I did start working on some cues, but it was too much time consuming and at times difficult to edit, not to mention the SFX that would still be heard in it.

Meanwhile I realized that I could / should have replaced some cues and that technically I should first revisit my edition.
Though something (named laziness) in the back of my mind asks me to wait at least for a complete slates list and possibly a bootleg having full-lenth cues so that I wouldn’t rip portions from the BD.

So, for now I’m at a dead end, waiting for something to happen. Best thing I could do for now would be reworking parts of my initial set.
