Hi there, guys!

I’m not sure how much activity is going on FFShrine, but I was wondering if anyone has access to a SEGA House of the Dead (original 1997) arcade board and can rip the music out of it from the hardware (NOT from Model 2 Emulator)? The music sounds SO much better on the real arcade machine.

Here’s the chapter 2 (stage 2) music from Model 2 Emulator:

In my opinion, it sounds so much better! The game is too legendary to not have a rip from the actual arcade board. I know the sound accuracy has to do with the FM capabilities of the SCSP sound chip (Sega Saturn sound chip) inside the game, which isn’t fully accurate on emu.

I was wondering if anyone around could do a rip. It’s my favorite arcade game; I’ve gotten a score of about 92,000 points by playing it to death.

Cheers. 🙂
