Why was the query thread closed

If we can’t query things, what is general discussion even good for? Seriously though when did this trend begin of mods closing threads and not even discussing the reason they are closing them.

ITT: query any queries you’re interested in. For example, what kind of music does ROKUSHO listen to these days? We know several months ago he was rolling with a Mega Man 2 mixtape blasting from his 2005 Pontiac Grand Am, but I assume a man with as varied and cultured taste as his would have moved through several albums since then.

He probably oughtta be on Mega Man 5 or 6 by now.

I think it was closed bc Ponyo was suing Clonemaster for a felony. But they settled out of court.

I think gururu was the mediator. :).

My guess is anything and everything where zvonko and/or powa pop up to comment (GD threads that is) or where the discussion steers towards them again is being closed prematurely to avoid more flame wars.

Actually I recall remarking that I didn’t agree with Penguin on closing stuff tbh

I asked that it be closed because the responses satisfied me. Plus I didn’t want to offend gururu with my petulant whining.
It would have just spiraled into further lackluster shitposting had it not been closed. There are plenty other threads for that.
