"Metropolis / Gottfried Huppertz. On BMG/RCA "Red Seal" Label, CD. Performed by: Berndt Heller & Brandenburg Philharmonie Orchester. May 1st 1996. This title was to be part of the "100 years of film music" series but was never released (despite being recorded live and having a cover artwork published) due to copyright problems."

The Dessau Alice comedies have also been posted here: Thread 201146
I’ve made my own rip of that disc, so if anyone wants it …
Thank you so much
I also have The Seven Stars Symphony by Charles Koechlin (not actual film music, but a symphony based on famous actors and actresses of the 1930s. Koechlin loved the cinema).
That one is not my rip so it’s only available upon PM request.
Leave a message I thread thanks again Wimple69.

The Dessau link is down. Any chance of a reup?
I’ve got my own rip of the Dessau album, including artwork etc. But you must request it personally by PM.
The Ivan the Terrible oratorio I shared earlier, minus scans, because I do not have the booklet any more.
If you want that one in FLAC you must send me a PM for it.
The only album missing, AFAICT, is Charlie Chaplin – The Film Music. Now I could get that one, but I won’t, since the copy is nopt quite so cheap and I’m not really interested in the music.
Charles Chaplin: The Film Music (Carl Davis)
You always amaze me please send link to the Chaplin
Thanks again
Together with tri2061990’s post of Nosferatu (see: Thread 164859), this completes the RCA "100 Years of Film Music" series on ffshrine!
Done! 😀
