I was navigating on https://torrentfreak.com/ and I found some interesting news,

Kim Dotcom made a lot of money selling Mega.co.nz to the chinese and now is preparing several projects.

MEGA 2.0

Ready for January is Mega 2.0.

"Megaupload 2 will be a caching provider for popular files on special high-speed servers that serve the files from ram. Long term storage will mostly be provided by numerous third-party sites that we are partnering with."
MU2 via its third-party encryption providers will make sure that every file is encrypted on-the-fly. On top of that Bitcache will add an additional layer of encryption with its new pay per download encrypted container. (uploaded.to and others paid hosters’ users will be pleased with this.)
"Another change compared to the original Megaupload is that the new service wont offer unrestricted direct delete access to copyright holders. Instead, it will have a takedown procedure where all rightholder requests will be processed and manually checked by people."
Megaupload 2 will not provide a direct delete tool, Dotcom says, referring to the many mistakes rightsholders made on the original service."
It will be a more time-consuming effort but because of mass automated takedown requests by the content industry with a failure rate of over 30% it has become a requirement to protect the rights of users. (we can rest in peace now) 😉

MegaNET

Ready for 2018??

Now we can dream of a internet without censorship and government control, no I’m no talking about the dark web.
Its’s a new Internet that cant be controlled, censored or destroyed by Governments or Corporations. You can load entire websites with this new technology and it makes them immune to almost all hacker attacks and ddos.

Both that and DepositFiles are "trustworthy".
They’re both so slow that many pirates never bother with them.
It’s the perfect cover!

Anything offering fast service gets taken down faster.
I remember several years ago one guy found out about this "Peejeshare" thing and then everyone was using it. I think the website was supposed to be a "joy reactor" kind of site which happened to have file-sharing.
It shut down pretty quickly. I’m sure the owners of the site got a nice dose of cynicism.

A lot of free filehosting with super speeds get taken down fast.

It really makes me wonder how they make any money at all with all that bandwidth usage.
They have to pay for their own bandwidth plan from a business ISP (business-to-business oriented; not for home consumers that pirate).
Those are not cheap, at all.

I’ve seen quite a few people ask as a regular customer (home user) about acquiring business plans from the major ISP’s out there.
In Canada, it’s Shaw, Rogers and Telus.
Guaranteed that the home users asking for business-quality bandwidth/speeds/metering are pirates.
Torrents, streaming, etc.
They likely never got a real answer.
All the applications and information about any B2B practice always says "serious inquiries only".
Which is often misinterpreted as people simply saying "I am serious", when they actually meant they need a papertrail linked to the business.

Fast and free filehosters, there’s got to be a profit margin for them to keep having things fast and free.
Sure, there’s premium services, but only high profile content providers in the piracy world pay for that.
And none of them operate here.
Mostly other forums that specialize in warez piracy.

People are so dumb.
"Serious inquiries only."
"Oh I was only pulling your leg. nvm"
