Quick thoughts:
All though Gears of War 4 returns (triumphantly I may add) for another set of sequels, the music takes a detour to an Oasis, parks, and drops their keys somewhere in Northern Illinois. Djawadi’s music largely sits in the background and very rarely became interesting, even when I was listening alone. I had similar thoughts regarding the music in Halo 5, though occasionally Jinnouchi had a few iconic tracks (‘The Trials’ come to mind). It’s nothing to write home about, but compared to previous Gears of War soundtracks my expectations were a little high. Here’s to Gears of War 5, in hopes that if Ramin Djawadi returns we’ll get more than background instrumentals.
Shoot me a message if something is broken!
Steve Jablongsky’s Gears of war 2&3 is far more enjoyable than this.
And? Who cares.
+1 ,and thanks wat634 for sharing this anyway
the GOW 4 OST is really really awful !!
Did you record this inline? My Groove files where encrypted WMV?
Nope, if you buy the album from the Windows store you’ll be given DRM-free MP3 files, both as a download and streaming. Groove music pass (formerly Zune) only lets you keep encrypted WMV files with a lower bitrate (usually 192-256kbps).
Some flac version (mega link) ??
Cheers!

For FLAC, check out Bart Oss’s thread: Thread 211021
The only albums I upload are ones I directly purchase from Microsoft’s music service, so I rarely will upload FLAC. Sorry.
