edit: Meh score, can’t be more dry than this one. Absolutely nothing distinctive about it, has no character at all. Damn let down.
I’m not sure if it works better in the game actually but definitely not on its own. Guess this Game of Thrones composer had some other priorities. Either that or the game producers could not figure out what to ask for. Overall this score just makes other three scores sound so much better than they were before. Shame, I think Gears games need that epic shit like they had before. Missed opportunity, not a lot of epic scores this year :/

you nailed it! Just what I wanted to say but… me didn’t want to write too much. LOL
It may be something of a "Gears gone soft" soundtrack if not perhaps the least identifiable of the franchise (Even Judgement, which I found borderline forgettable retained that element of brute force the trilogy had to it’s soundtrack), but it’s a pleasure to my ears nonetheless. "Finale" sure is one gentle heart-breaker.
