Many thanks Bart for sharing with us…much appreciated as always.

However after my first listen to the score I must admit I was hoping for more…
in fact I much preferred the music used on the official trailer which I know
generally has no affiliation with the actual soundtrack/movie anyway.

it’s a pity because on this occasion I found it to be the best track of all.

I’m not saying it’s a bad score, it just didn’t take me to that ‘place’ that some soundtracks do with ease sometimes.
maybe I will have a difference of opinion after seeing the movie.

OMV Desplat’s scores are the bestest especially when he composes for semi-independent movies like these. Someone make Alexandre Desplat and Philip Glass and Gabriel Yared the composer for every independent movie ever!!! My bae Desplat

I think here Desplat outdid himself! The worlds are not enough to express my feelings right now! Artistry in everything. Music themes, harmony, orchestration, mics setting, orchestra setting and of course an ingenious and velvety way of material recycling!
