Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, if you’re in the market for a 1990-91 Geo Metro hatchback, you can get one for $50 cheaper on eBay than on carsforsale.com

Depends. Craigslist limits your options since people posting there generally won’t ship it to you. If you’re looking for something not widely available, like a Geo Metro, you’re not likely to find a lot of good results close to you on CL. eBay sellers generally will arrange to have the car shipped to you if necessary. I think eBay motors even has some way of arranging for title transfers, though I’ve never looked into it.

CL has the obvious advantage of being able to test drive the car first, get it right away, negotiate on price and avoid shipping costs, but on the other hand, you’re much more likely to be dealing with sketchy people on CL who will try to hide or lie about the car’s history. With eBay you can check out the seller’s reputation.

You gotta keep the bantz rolling. Always try to turn it back on the other party. For example, in this case, you could have tried a jab about me ROKUSHO posting. I mean, you can’t now, because I just said it, so you’ll appear unoriginal, but I’m just giving an example. Something like "Unlike you and ROKUSHO, which never even had the virtue of being relevant."

Then I could retaliate with a new story about ROKUSHO, possibly involving his mom and/or a pigeon, that clearly demonstrates why ROKUSHO stories are always relevant.
