[REQ] Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Now that we’re less than a week away from launch, I was hoping maybe someone who gets their hands on the official sampler (with the Collector’s Edition) or is even able to rip the soundtrack from the game files would be able to share them.

As far as an official soundtrack goes, Eidos confirmed one to be released in the fall, but no official digital retailer has any info on it, nor are there any pre-order options available.

I’m super hyped up for this game! However I won’t be getting it on launch since my computer doesn’t meet system requirements 🙁 but at least I’m hopeful for the soundtrack release!

I’m waiting for this game as well, I was simply in love with "Human Revolution" (including the music). Can’t wait!

Well now most of the world is able to play the game and the soundtrack’s officially been announced, but unfortunately, we have till Sept 30. Good news is, it’s a 2-disc extended soundtrack.

Oh man, the official releases got postponed again. The next date seems to be December 2…

By the time it’s finally out, very few people will still care, I’m afraid. Less than did a few months ago, for example. I mean, I’m still waiting (kind of), as do all of us here, but I think they should have released it along with the game for a much better effect overall.

I don’t have a problem with that. Sure, the wait is a pain, but i’d rather have a great and proper release than a rushed and sloppy one.
So i’m actually (positively) surprised that they’re taking their bloody time to make it right! (Of course, we don’t know if the album is going to be any good in the end, but it seems like they’re trying.)

Well, if that would be the case, then I wouldn’t mind all this waiting either. I don’t know, I have this bad feeling that this album will be somewhat weaker compared to Human Revolution. I mean, HR’s music charmed me instantly (and it still does, both in and out of game), while that in Mankind Divided…not so much. I feel like the game itself was weaker overall, like something was missing, that little "something" that made previous one truly great for me. Don’t get me wrong, I did like Mankind Divided quite a lot when playing it, but it wasn’t the same for some reason. But to end it on a positive note, I do hope that Mankind Divided will prove me wrong about the quality of its music. Once it’s out. Someday.

I wouldn’t know, i haven’t played it yet and didn’t hear much of the music either – other than the sampler which holds mostly trailer music. Of course, i’m not expecting another HR soundtrack – that one just can’t be beat, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and replicating something as incredible is always nigh impossible. Still, it can be good; and we’ll see in about 2 weeks…

iTunes pre-order for the Extended Edition DXMD soundtrack is live. Hope someone gets a hold of this and posts it on the release date Dec 2/3.

Opening Credits is mixed differently from the Digital Sampler. Don’t like how different it sounds from the in-game version. Will wait for the whole album to decide.
