MOVIE MONSTERS: Classic Film Music for Creature Features (HALLOWEEN 2016 TREAT) DSD

Last year I posted a compilation entitled SCI-FI IN HI (Thread 193366) which featured 9 of 13 tracks from a 1959 album by Dick Jacobs and his Orchestra (Coral CRL-757240) titled, THEMES FROM HORROR MOVIES. Since this was a “Sci-Fi” collection, I excluded 4 tracks on the original Jacobs album which were from genuine “horror films”, Horror of Dracula, Son of Dracula & House of Frankenstein, but these could be found on another expanded compilation of mine titled “Movie Monsters: Classic Film Music for Creature Features”, which I said I would post in time for Halloween. Unfortunately shortly after I published the Sci-Fi post I had to endure my own medical “horror show” which I will not go into here, from which I have yet to fully recover. But as promised, almost exactly a year later, here is the MOVIE MONSTERS compilation. I hope you have as much fun listening to this collection as I had putting it together. Although all of the selections were DSD archived from superior tape sources, I can only offer it in MP3 (320 kbps) at this time but the sound is surprisingly good in this format, especially if it is converted to wave for a CD by ITunes.
