Can someone explain to me the fascination with recording sessions?

Can someone explain to me the fascination with recording sessions?

Because some people want all the music from a movie, no matter how banal the music may be.
Other times the best parts are left off of the film’s soundtrack, or the CD mixing is so awful that it’s unlistenable, and sessions offer a more dynamic mix.

Don’t forget extreme music hoarding.

Though in this case it seems to be a little of the opposite.

No, the cues are just quiet.

Well, yeah, but in more description, I mean to say that some instruments almost sound barely in the mix, making it seem sort of like an aspect of the music is missing. I know that’s not the case, but when some of the instruments are so quiet… :p

The need for recording sessions reached a peak when mv/rcp scores featured multiple credits on film but couldn’t be preoperly represented on cd or whatever. Case in point, ARMAGEDDON. Also, mv/rcp composers had a knack for creating interesting cues, however small, through their jingles training they received through the years….

In fact, the version you are looking for is this one : Gods Of Egypt – Complete – MC16030 , there are 72 tracks.

The problem is that the OST is varese so this album is regarding varese so we can’t share it, but great album I agree, the Gods Of Egypt – 302 067 401 8 is short with its 26 tracks.
