Track Listing:

Note: not a lot to write about this edition. It’s been sitting on my hard drive for months waiting to be edited but I just got around to it. I blended cues together for flow and leveled out the audio.

Unfortunately my lossy FLAC files are lost so all I have available now is the VBR MP3 version I use for personal use when I travel. It sounds good to me but I’m sure there’ll be a few complaints that it’s not FLAC or that I took an MP3 source file, transcoded it to lossless then re-transcoded my edited files to VBR MP3. Not to sound rude but get over it or do it yourself if that’s you. I don’t have time to re-edit the whole thing to lossy FLAC so this will have to do.

Enjoy!

Thank you! I find that Howard’s scores almost always benefit from expanded presentations; or, if not benefit, the expanded presentation rarely meanders and sags under the weight of droning, repetitive underscore. I guess what I’m trying to say is that JNH is a consistently ‘interesting’ composer!

Thank you.

By the way, the VBR in question is V0. Which I, for one, have not previously been able to distinguish from FLAC – at least with my middling ears and headphones.
